Multiple 500 millisecond pauses can't generate audio

The software can't cope with the millisecond pauses. 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 50 of them all cause the "Failed to generate" message.
I need longer pauses as I am trying to create a list of words, 500 milliseconds is barely noticeable. I did manage to use it to good effect last week, but this week it is simply not working.

It is working now. Even if I cut and paste the 🕒 emojis. But when I go to "Audio Generator" I still get this error:-
Lynne
Oh dear. I spoke too soon. I just tried to create audio for a spelling test and it was completely weird. Again it seems to be the 🕒 emojis that cause the problem.
Still hilarious though: https://youtu.be/MtpQBcB8pTo

Rajesh D'Souza - I just tested it again, and it created a video, but the little clocks caused it to have a complete meltdown. I haven't stopped laughing. I will share a YouTube link.

Here it is: It starts well, and then we get to the list of words! https://youtu.be/4n_Bs5saB-4

I have to say, I used this video to good effect to cheer up one of my students who is going through a tough time.

Tested, and the same thing happens on Microsoft Edge.

It is a problem with the Audio Generator. It is broken.

I am looking into it, and when I go to "Audio Generator" I get a lot of flashing blurred images, followed by this message: Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information).
I have tried clearing the cache, but get the same message each time.
